Lush - Haul & First Impression

Hi guys! I'm back from China! :)

I got my Lush products from my aunt sometime before I went travelling, filmed my Lush Haul but had no time to edit/upload. But it's up now!

In my video, I only did a short haulage video. "Short", hahahaha. But in this blog post, I'm going to do a first impression of the scents, why I bought them and what I think about them.

I keep all of my Lush products in a Christmas Box by Elianto from Xmas '10:

First look when I open the box:

I keep the products separate in Sandwich Storage Bags/Ziploc Bags:

I got 60 bags for RM5.90, which is not even US$2; really, super affordable.

The first product I have is the THERAPY MASSAGE BAR:

I bought it because I wanted to try the massage bars. From the Lush Singapore website, it says there's Lavender, Neoroli Oils, Cocoa & Shea Butter. All I smell is Lavender, and smell of dried leaves. The scent is not bad, but not good either. I don't like this massage bar, at all. Its so oily that after a few hours of applying this, I went to my living room to film, sat on the floor, and left oil stains on the floor. I think it's just not worth the S$21. Never purchasing this. ever. again. But I might try the other massage bars. :)

The next product I have is the HONEY I WASHED THE KIDS SOAP:

This is one of Lush's best-selling soaps. That's basically why I bought it, and also because I thought that the beeswax part was really cool and I like the smell of honey. Lush Singapore describes its scent as Honey & Toffee. And that is exactly what it smells like! Such a heavenly combination, I AM IN LOVE! The downside to this soap though, is that it kind of dries out my skin after my shower. Nevertheless, I would definitely repurchase this soap for the scent :3. I was also thinking to get the Porridge Soap, Rockstar Soap & Godmother Soap.

The next product I have is a SEX BOMB:

I cut all my bath bombs in half. I know you're supposed to use a whole bath bomb, but my tub is really small so I wouldn't waste all that in one bath.
I love the little flower on the top:

Do you see how pretty this bath bomb looks? I bought it for that! The scent describe was Jasmine & Ylang Ylang. I definitely smell Jasmine if not, too much of it. I really don't like the scent of it. I haven't used this, but I know that it'll turn my water pink & there'll be the little flower in my water. So, I am still excited to try this out but I don't think I'll ever repurchase this particular bath bomb simply because of the scent; too florally for my liking, tbh.

The next bath bomb I have is the Tisty Tosty:

As you can see on top, the Tisty Tosty proves that, "When a heart breaks, no it don't breakeven."

I bought it because it looked pretty in the picture on Lush Singapore's website (www.lushsg.com). This is supposed to smell like roses. And it does. The little roses looked so pretty on the website but when they came, they were all brown and dried out (refer to picture above). Maybe it was because my aunt bought it and kept it for about a week or so. The scent is okay, the rose is not TOO overpowering.

The next bath bomb I have is the Butterball:

Sorry I couldn't get a decent picture of this product even after like, 1000 shots. It just doesn't focus. -_-

I used this today! When I threw half of this bath bomb into my water, it slowly fizzes and dissolves, turning my water milky and filled with oats! The water turns really silky and it is very moisturizing for the skin. The downside to this bath bomb is that I don't like the scent; which is weird because this is one of their best-sellers because of the "vanillary" scent. But I just don't smell it. All I smell is a weird smell of milk powder mixed with oats. The oats also stick to my bath tub but I just left it there :p I'll clean it tomorrow, I promise.

The next bath bomb I have is the So White:

This is actually the So White Bath Bomb. I know that the So White Bath Bomb does not have flakes in it but you see this pink stuff on the top of the bath bomb in this picture. When I was breaking my bath bombs in half, this was actually the last one. All the crumbles were left of the paper so the pink you see on top is actually the crumbles of the Sex Bomb.

I bought this because everyone on YouTube seems to love this Christmas product. I decided to try it so I bought it. But I haven't tried it out yet. Just by sniffing the bath bomb, I smell cupcake frosting! So I LOVE IT!.... for now.
The next product I have is The Comforter Bubble Bar:

Smells like candy. Blackcurrant-flavoured candy. I used this yesterday and I love it! You can see the dent on the right side of this bubble bar, and that is the amount I used for my tub :p My tub is that small. But it gave me more bubbles than I needed, it was so fun! :) Judging by the amount that I've used today, this would easily yield more than 10 baths.

It's a Lush Best-seller and I've heard so much about it. When I first got it, I knew it was going to be so super fun and it was!

That's all for my Lush haul & first impression. I'll talk to you guys soon!
Love you all! <3

MONTHLY CRAVEEE :3

In this month, well this week actually, for 3 days, I've been snacking on...

SUSHI!!!!

Well, I wasn't really snacking on them. They've been my dinner :D 3 days, but not in a row though. I don't know why, if I were to eat sushi for the whole week, if not two weeks, I would be totally fine and rather happy actually. I LOVE SUSHI!

But I think this actually gave me an upset stomach this morning :( It's okay, I got to savour the deliciousness last night and that moment was amazing!

This is just some regular takeout sushi though. I want to go to an actual sushi place! Craving sushi since like, last month.

And anyway, as you guys might know, from "My Accent Tag" in YouTube, Candice came over sometime last month.

So I played around and swatched her palette, just thought I might share the pictures with you guys. I'm not the best swatcher, nor am I the best photographer, nowhere near that actually. But.. here we go! :D

This is the palette. So many pretty colours! So sparkly! So sorry I forgot the name of this palette, heh. I'll try to ask her and then I'll let you guys know! Below are some swatches (in disgusting lighting):

My camera didn't want to cooperate with me so that means, bad pictures. :/ But these are so pigmented! Like, crazy pigmented. These are all shimmery, there's not one shadow that's matte, but there's three glitter shadows, like filled with glitter, so much fun! Oh damn, I just realised I forgot to swatch the glitter shadows, eeh! As you can see from the picture of the palette above, the one most to the right are the so called "glitter shadows", it's what I call them at least. SEE HOW SPARKLY THEY ARE!

I NEED THIS PALETTE!

LUSH?! & complaints of a drama beauty queen.

Hey guys! So, Lush huh? I went around asking all my friends about Lush and they were all like, "Wha?"

There's no Lush in Malaysia. Like, seriously. I wanted to purchase some of the products online of www.lushusa.com and ship it to my sister who could ship it back to me, but that was just too much trouble. & The worst part is that, she's in Iowa, and there's no Lush store there.

Soooo, I went to Lush's website, www.lush.com, and I saw that Singapore actually had an actual website. So I went to it and found out there was no online shopping available yet. So, I checked the address and since Singapore was so small, I went ahead and asked my aunt who lives in Singapore for a favour. I asked if she could help me get a few stuff. & guess what? She actually went to the Lush store after like 2 days, yay! So, she's coming back next week and I'm so excited!

Everyone of the beauty community on YouTube is all crazy into Lush. I get so frustrated when I see Lush Hauls because I can't get my hands on them! But now I can! I just have to ask my aunt for a favour everytime she wants to come back to Malaysia for a visit. She's coming back for Chinese New Year soon so I just thought I'd asked.

And she was so nice! :)

Lush is really expensive in Singapore. I think I bought around 7 things and came up with a total of S$79.65 (prices from www.lushsg.com). That was like RM191.16. Wow, that must have made like a really deep hole in my pockets. If I bought it from the US, I could have gotten it for a total of (these prices are from the US website, www.lushusa.com), US$49.45 but instead I got it from the SG franchise for US$59.74. UGH, sucks to be living in a country with no popular brand names on sale.  That's like, more than US$10 which is RM30! I'm such a cheapo. :D

I haven't got the Lush products yet, I'll get them sometime next week, around Thursday-Saturday next week, so once I get them, I'll do a video on them, test them out and tell you what I think!

GET A LUSH FRANCHISE HERE IN MALAYSIA! SOMEBODEH, apply for it! :K

Anyway, did you know that, we don't even have Covergirl in Malaysia? We used to, now we don't. We used to also have Physician's Formula, now we don't.

Here are some brands we don't have:
Covergirl
Physician's Formula
Milani
NYX
e.l.f
Zoya
Orly
China Glaze
Essie
Aussie
(I may be wrong, but I can't find them anywhere and it drives me crazy!)

AND SO MANY MORE, and as for products from:
M.A.C
benefit
Urban Decay
Revlon
WELL ANY BRAND AT ALL,

the prices are like jacked up 1.5x!

I am soooo mad right now. :K

What's in my bag/purse?

This is my bag/purse! My cutecutecutecute Hello Kitty bag. I know I took a really ugly picture, like the sides are all weird and everything. But it's so cute, honest! I got this bag off Ebay and it came with the Sanrio tag and all, so I don't know if it was a knockoff. But I believe I got it for around US$30 if I'm not wrong, so probably. Maybe? Idk. It's just the cutest bag I saw!

If you guys aren't subscribed to my YouTube channel, you totally should! :D

If you weren't aware, I filmed a What's in My Bag video a couple days back and I actually forgot to show my bag in the video, how smart. -_- I only realised it after I've uploaded the video, and I promised I'd put a photo of my bag up here in my blog, so here!

Watch my What's in My Bag/Purse? video! :)
