New & Simplified Blog Design! What do you think?

Hey guys! In case you didn't notice, I got a new blog design now! I worked on this for 3 days.. I'm not even kidding you. I kept changing up stuff and it ended being the most simple-looking blog design I've ever done.

If you can remember, my blog header used to be vain selfies of me (haha).

I wanted something a little cuter, neater and just overall give my blog a more polished look. 

Firstly I came up with this design:

If you didn't realise, soft pink & baby blue is my favourite colour combo! I tried to start coding the HTML from scratch, but I suck at HTML and I couldn't code it. So I gave the Blogger Template Designer a second chance. When I first used it, I hated it so much. I felt that it was so limited and there's not much you can do with it. But now I finally know how to use it and I'm kinda liking it.

With Blogger's Template Designer, I came up with the design that's up now:

I really like it! I think it's a lot neater and like I said, I LOVE pink & blue together! I do think my sidebar is a little crowded and messy so I'm still working on that! But all in all, I think it was a good change for Beauty Nerd By Night. (hopefully :p)

The "Home . About . Contact . PR" tab at the top links to their respective pages. The icons on the utmost top of my sidebar links to my Twitter, Instagram, YouTube & Bloglovin.
