Hey everyone! Today’s post is very exciting: especially to the budget barbies out there.. like me! I will be reviewing and swatching two matte nail polishes from Saxby Nails today. In my next post, I will review one textured nail polish from Saxby and a velvet manicure set from Denesy.
I would first like to thank SaSa Malaysia for sending me these nail polishes and understanding my nail polish hoarding obsession :p Please note that this will not affect my opinions in any way.
This first one is in the shade 32. The air bubbles were from my Base Coat. It is a deeper, lilac colour that is universally flattering on many skintones. This colour is really opaque and definitely a one coater. In the pictures above, I put two coats just for the sake of this post. This has become one of my favourite go-to summer colours because it’s just really easy to wear, bright, fun and I LOVE the matte finish!
This is in the shade 24. It is a deep, almost-black, burgundy kind of colour. This has shimmer running through it and I think the effect it has when it’s matte looks fab! This is also a one coater but I used two coats for this post. This is definitely one of those colours that look good either matte or with a topcoat. I typically don’t wear dark nail polishes, but this shade is an exception! I’m so in love with this colour, which was really unexpected! J
SaSa is having a promotion on these nail polishes now until the 9th of June. You will get a Buy 2 Get 1 Free Promo!
Opaque in one coat
Beautiful matte finish
Quick drying time
Easy to apply
Creamy & smooth application
The lighter shades are a little streaky
I think these nail polishes are a great buy, especially at their super affordable price tag. I don’t know why whenever I’m waiting for my nail polish to dry, I always mess it up.. So I LOVE that this takes very little time to dry. Overall, I think it’s really worth it and I would definitely purchase some more for myself!
