Pamper Nights: LUSH Floating Island Luxury Bath Melt

Two weeks ago, my sister, our Mum and I went to Phuket, Thailand for a relaxing getaway. Guess who came along? My LUSH Stash, of course! LUSH is the unbeatable champion for creating bath goodies that provide a relaxing, soothing ambience to help destress after a long day. Some of their products even provide a romantic ambience (Sex Bomb *winkwink* hahaha).
I’ve been a customer of LUSH ever since they opened their stores in Singapore. It does suck that we don’t have a store here in Malaysia (fret not, Malaysian lovelies! Read till’ the end for exciting news!!). I always make sure to squeeze in a visit or two to the Wisma Atria store whenever I go visit my aunt in Singapore.
Today’s post is on a new addition to my stash: the Floating Island Bath Melt.

So tempted to throw it in the pool :p
From LushSG Website: Escape to your own fragrant island and float away to the scent of vanilla, sandalwood and lemon foam to calm a weary mind and restless body. Now, technically, islands don’t melt, but you’ll be absolutely floating after submerging yourself in the tub with our luxurious, slow-melting, fizzy bath melt. Helen combined creamy cocoa butter with our signature Bath Bomb mixture to create a fizzing bath melt that would melt very slowly in the water, allowing you to lie back and really enjoy the beauty of the experience. Slip away to an island of luxury.
Lets put this baby to the test!

This bath melt melts really slowly, allowing you to enjoy a long, luxurious bath. You can see in the 2nd and 3rd picture that: with such a big chunk of the Bath Melt left, the bath water is already milky and soft. To me, this little guy would probably last me 2 baths but since I wanted to full on relax, I used the whole thing.

Hopefully you can see in this picture that: the bath water is silky smooth and has a milky texture to help soften skin.

Price: S$12.50
Smoothes Skin
Smells Delicious
I seriously, honestly cannot think of any con.
Final Verdict:
If you want something moisturising, relaxing and smells delicious; the Floating Island Bath Melt is made for YOU! I was kinda tempted to eat it (lol, who’s surprised?) because it reminded me of a marshmallow. The scent of Sandalwood, Vanilla & Lemon Foam works together and gives off a sweet yet fresh scent. Pop this in a warm bath and let your worries and stress float away (geddit, geddit? :p). I would repurchase this in a heart beat and am actually going to when I go to Singapore next time!

  • Use the whole thing once?! Haha

  • This bath melt should be able to last 2-3 baths since a little bit goes a long way. But I really wanted to relax, so I use the whole thing once! Hahaha!

  • I've honestly never used a bath bomb or bath melt, but I'd love to try this! I especially want to smell the scent. =0)
