Hey loves! Today’s post features my favourite elf cosmetics products. I’ve heard about elf in the beauty blogosphere for the longest time and have never been able to get any until about 3 months ago. My sister was visiting from the USA and I took advantage of that and asked her if she could get me some elf products.
elf cosmetics is known for their really affordable and high quality products. The price range of most of their products is from $1 to $3. Unfortunately, they aren’t available in Malaysia. I think there are Facebook sellers and other websites though. She got me a bunch of products and here are my favourites after trying them out for 3 months.
More pictures and products after the jump!
1- elf High Definition Powder ($6) & elf Powder Brush ($3)
I love this combination (powder + brush) to pieces! The elf High Definition Powder is a very finely milled, translucent powder. Because it is so finely milled, it is super blendable and feels very light weight. This doesn’t cake up the face, in fact- it looks like you’re not even wearing powder! It makes my skin super smooth to the touch (this is magical, I don’t know how they do it!) and also makes my skin look flawless. I LOVE IT!
The elf Powder Brush is a flat top buffing brush. This powder brush is known for the way it buffs in liquid foundation seamlessly onto the skin to give an even finish. I love this powder brush for both liquid foundation and powder (that’s why my powder has foundation stains all over it :p).
2- elf Daily Brush Cleaner ($3)
The elf Daily Brush Cleaner is used to spot clean brushes (cleaning the brush after each use to avoid mixing of colours). This works amazing for that. All you have to do is get a napkin/wash cloth, spray some of this Daily Brush Cleaner on it and swipe your brush a few times on it. It doesn’t deep cleanse the brush or make it squeaky clean but- there will be no excess colour left on the brush.
3- elf Blush in Tickled Pink ($3) & elf Blush Brush ($3)
I love the elf Blush in Tickled Pink. It is a very shimmery, peachy colour. It’s super, super light and I like it because of that. I can use a heavy hand and it looks really natural. The amount of shimmer is also not too overpowering so I don’t look like a disco ball. The elf Blush Brush is a tapered brush that’s great for highlighting, putting on blush and contouring. It blends the blush in perfectly, definitely a love!
4- elf Eyebrow Kit in Medium ($3)
If you guys have read my post on my eyebrow routine, this is the exact same kit I used. The elf Eyebrow Kit in Medium is one of my holy grail products. It fills in really nicely and the colour suits my hair colour pretty well. It also looks super natural, it doesn’t look “drawn on”.
5- elf Flawless Concealer Brush ($3)
I was surprised to see elf having a concealer brush that was fluffy. The elf Flawless Concealer Brush blends the concealer in so well and doesn’t leave any streaks or creases. The brush itself is also super soft and doesn’t feel scratchy when I’m using it. I love this brush for my undereye concealer.
Those were my favourite products from elf cosmetics. I used to think, “the more expensive something is, the better it’ll be.” Looks like elf cosmetics has proved me wrong! If you’re looking for something that will not break the bank and that is high quality, this brand is the way to go! What’s more.. they’re pretty much always on sale.
Thanks for reading, xoxo
My sister bought me the products. This post is not sponsored.
