Review: ELF HD Blushes

Before I start, I just want to wish my sister, Socks @ ExtraExtravagant a Happy Birthday! 🙂 Definitely go and send her some birthday wishes 🙂 She turned 21!
Hey loves! Are you ready for an amazing budget beauty find? These are the e.l.f HD Blushes! They are always being compared to the Make Up For Ever HD Blushes and I definitely see the resemblance (bottle, concept, everything!) but I personally don’t own the MUFE ones. These blushes come with a pump.
Retail Price: $3 at
The ELF HD Blushes are available in 5 shades and I have two shades to show you today: Headliner (rosy, neutral pink), Diva (hot pink).
Reviews & more pictures after the jump!

These blushes are super creamy and a little bit goes a loooooong way (as you can see in the pictures above). When you use these blushes for the first time, you definitely have to pump a couple of times and when I first used these, I dispensed way too much product haha so I’m very careful when I use these now just so I get the slightest bit of product. These creamy blushes don’t feel sticky or oily on the face and they are super blendable.
I tried to smudge these with water, and they held up pretty well. The colours definitely did fade but still left behind a beautiful, soft colour. This is a very long lasting blush that is great even if you have oily skin. I have combination skin and this held up really well throughout the day for me.
I love Headliner as an every day blush colour and I think it is the lightest shade in the entire range so there isn’t a huge range of colours, which is a down side to these. I don’t know what I was thinking when I chose Diva, because it is a bright, hot pink colour and hot pinks don’t look good on my medium skintone at all. Diva would go well with a darker skin tone though.
If you’re looking for a great cream blush, this is a great one. Honestly though, I don’t find myself reaching for it that often, just because I’m too lazy to pump it on the back of my hand and then applying it- that’s a personal problem though, haha. All in all, I think these are a great buy especially at only $3!
Have you tried any of the ELF HD blushes? What’s your favourite cream blush? 🙂
