If there was one place I could be in for the rest of my life, I would choose the Lush store in Hay Street, Perth- I would, of course, throw in a bath tub and my laptop. I’m a Lush addict, and the people in Perth are so helpful and polite, so why not right? The stuff there look almost good enough to eat, but that would be a terrible idea. Hmmm..
My trip to Perth, Australia for 4 days was a short and sweet one. I had so much fun! We stayed at Holiday Inn City Centre Perth, which is located right at the heart of the City Centre. Everything was in walking distance, including Lush!
Okay, this post is about what I bought at Lush, not my trip to Perth :p I bought a few Christmas products and also some of their permanent products. I LOVE fruity and relaxing scents, so I didn’t pick up anything that smelled too floral, or spicy.

1) Snow Fairy Gift Set (AU$22.50)
This gift set includes:
– Snow Fairy Shower Gel 100g
– Angel’s Delight Soap
– Bubblegum Lip Scrub
SNOW FAIRY SHOWER GEL – This is one of Lush’s most famous shower gels that every girly girl would love. It smells like cotton candy and bubblegum. I’m literally sitting here right now- drinking some tea, smelling like cotton candy. This is the life! I used this the first time (only thing in this haul that I’ve used) today and even my room smelled like Snow Fairy for the next hour! Yumm 🙂
ANGEL’S DELIGHT SOAP – This cute, little star shaped soap is the Angel’s Delight soap. I honestly have no idea what the “popular Angel’s Delight dessert” is but this smells so amazing! It smells like the Snow Fairy shower gel – “cottoncandy-bubblegum”-y but it has a citrus scent to it. It’s the perfect balance between fruity and sweet.
BUBBLEGUM LIP SCRUB – This is the famous bubblegum lip scrub that in my opinion, is slightly overpriced at AU$9.95 because I always just make my own honey-sugar lip scrub. But since it comes in my Snow Fairy gift set, I can’t wait to try it to see if it’s different from a plain honey-sugar lip scrub. It smells like the Snow Fairy Shower Gel- bubblegum & cotton candy.
2. Angel’s Delight Soap (AU$5.90 for 100g)
I bought this because I didn’t realise that it came in my Snow Fairy gift set. It does smell really good so I’m completely fine with it. Again, this smells like bubblegum and cotton candy but with a citrus twist to it. I wish I’d gotten the Honey I Washed the Kids soap instead.. it’s like my favourite soap and yet I completely forgot about that!
3. Mr Punch Soap (AU$5.90 for 100g)
This is a repeat- I bought this last year too, but the piece of soap I got last year looked less exciting because it didn’t have the colourful blocks in it. This is one of my favourite soaps from Lush and I wish they would make this permanent. Like Lush described, this smells like a bunch of fruits thrown together. Super fruity scent that makes you smell like a bowl of fruits!
4. Father Christmas Bath Bomb (AU$6.50)
Is this not the cutest thing?! This bath bomb is HUGE! I almost expected Father Christmas to smell spicy like cinnamon.. but no! This smells very fruity and zingy with some citrus in it. It also has a little, teeeeny bit of a floral scent to it- I think it’s the orange blossom. I’m excited to try this out, especially after seeing that the water changes from a bright red to a vivid green.. interesting!
5. Space Girl Bath Bomb (AU$5.95)
I wanted to get Space Girl the last two times I was in Lush Singapore but I don’t know why I didn’t. This smells so nice- has a blackcurrant scent with again, some citrus in it. I honestly don’t even know if anything I’m describing is what they are even supposed to smell like, just what my sniffer tells me! This bath bomb is such a pretty baby blue colour and has some gold glitter on the top. I hope there’s a surprise in this one!
6. Dorothy Bubble Bar (AU$5.95)
I was a little bit weirded out by myself when I decided to place this in my shopping basket because this has a more floral scent to it rather than fruity. However, it is a very light floral scent and it also has a tiny bit of a fruit scent to it. I thought I would get this because I haven’t run out of my favourite bubble bars, which is The Comforter, Creamy Candy and Candy Mountain.
7. Dragon’s Egg Bath Ballistic (AU$5.95)
I don’t know why my Dragon’s Egg Bath Ballistic look so plain! Isn’t it supposed to have little round colour blocks in it instead of light blotches of colour? This one, to me, smells very relaxing! This smells like how a spa smells: to me, it smells like it has some lemongrass, lime and some other fruity goodness that I cannot pinpoint. This is definitely one of those that I just want to soak in after a long, stressful day with a good book and some candles.
8. Whoosh Shower Jelly (AU$6.25 for 100g/AU$12.95 for 240g)
This is the first time that I’ve ever bought a Shower Jelly from Lush. It looked interesting and I thought it would be cool to rub some jellylike thing on your bare skin.. whut. I kind of have no idea how to use this though.. like, do you pinch off a bit and use it, do you just take out the whole jelly and rub it on your body? It does say on the tub, “Stroke our wobbly bit over your wobbly bits (haha) in the shower” but I’m still very unclear about it. Please do let me know!
So that is everything that I got from Lush Australia! I’m so excited and can’t wait to try everything. I’ll definitely do some individual reviews for you guys sometime in the near future.
Thanks for reading, xoxo
