Majolica Majorca 10th Anniversary- Autumn 2013

Hey guys! Today I’ll be showing you 2 star products from the Majolica Majorca Autumn 2013 range: The Little Humming Book III quad, and the Lash Expander Edge Meister F mascara. I’m sorry this post is waaaaay overdue, but I received these products when I had eyelash extensions on and I couldn’t try out the mascara. Excuses aside, Majolica Majorca always has pretty amazing product packaging and this time round, it’s no different!

The packaging of this quad blew me away! I think it’s the cutest quad I own. It’s basically a storybook-like palette that has pages that you can flip through with tons of “Alice in Wonderland-esque” pictures of tea parties and a music sheet that could maybe be played (I have no idea. I took piano lessons for like.. 2 months.)?
After flipping through 3 pages, there’s a page that tells you the shades in your palette and then you flip it once more, and the palette reveals itself! …how magical!

The eyeshadows in this quad are very soft, buttery and pigmented. The whole quad, to me, gives off sort of like a romantic vibe. The gold and pink can be paired together in a soft, girly, romantic eye look for dates! I usually use the gold all over my eyelids, and a slight touch of pink in my crease. Be careful with pink eyeshadow though, ’cause using too much can make your eyes look swollen. If you want a sweet-looking, girly look: I love using the pink all over my eyelid and have the gold in my inner corners and just blend some light brown eyeshadow in your crease to warm up the look.
The eye base in this quad is something I’m not all that sure about. It’s a very, very light, pearly pink colour that feels very “slippery”. It makes a very pretty browbone highlight though.
The lip gloss in this palette; I love! It’s a sheer tomato red colour that looks beautiful on the lips, especially with the soft eyes you can get with the eyeshadows! This lip gloss is just a tiny bit tacky, but the colour will look gorgeous on any skintone.

An Asian girl’s best friend, this mascara contains 4mm jet black long fibres to make our short and sparse lashes look longer and fuller. The comb itself is a double-ended plastic-y bristle that is made to coat every little eyelash from root to tip. The plastic bristles also separates the lashes really well and lifts each lash so it gives a curl.
This mascara coated my eyelashes very evenly with no clumps at all and made my lashes look super black. It definitely helped lengthen and add volume to my lashes. The only complaint I have for this is probably that the formula is too wet, and it’s very hard to get a clean, neat application because once I blink, some mascara transfers to my lower lashline and I have to clean up with a cotton bud. If that’s not a deal breaker for you, this is definitely a mascara worth checking out.
You can get these and other Majolica Majorca products at major Watson’s and Guardian’s outlets.
