Hey there, everyone! Today’s post is on the November Wantable Makeup Box. For a subscription of $36, or a one-time purchase of $40, a personalised box of 4-5 full-sized or premium beauty treats will be sent right to your doorstep.
The best thing about Wantable is that, they showcase high quality brands that deserve more hype, and if you’re like me- I love trying out new brands!

Upon registration, you will have to take your personal style quiz. In the personal style quiz, you basically have to either “love”, “like” or “dislike” general products (blush, eyeshadow, etc), and colour preferences. By doing this quiz, you are more likely to get what you love and never get what you dislike.

Products in my Wantable Makeup Box: November 2013
All the products in my personalised Wantable Makeup Box: November 2013

1. Michael Marcus Lipstick – Debbie ($24)
This is in the shade “Debbie” and it is a beautiful rich, creamy red colour. The formula of this lipstick blew me away! It’s pigmented, creamy, and super glossy! As far as scent goes, this doesn’t have any fragrance to it; it just smells like lipstick. Two of my preferences were met in this product: I LOVE red lipsticks.
I’ve never heard of Michael Marcus makeup before, but I have to check out more of these lipsticks. They have a bunch of colours to choose from and I am in love with the formula.
2. Rainbow Honey Nail Lacquer in Sakura Matsuri ($10 for 15ml / $5 for 7ml)
This glitter topper is in the shade, “Sakura Matsuri”. It has different-sized round and hexagonal glitters, and flower glitters suspended in a clear base. I’ve never tried any custom-blended nail polishes before, but I have to say I liked this one a lot. It’s packed with glitter and applies evenly and smoothly. The flower glitters might need a little “fishing” but the others go on well without. This is such a girly glitter topper that will transform a typical nail polish into a gorgeous manicure. All Rainbow Honey nail lacquers are 3-free!
3. Billion Dollar Brows (BDB) Brow Powder – Light Brown ($18)
In the style quiz, they asked me what colour I would prefer if I were to get brow products, and I said light brown. According to BDB’s website, they said that the light brown shade is for warm blondes & redheads, but I have dark hair. I find that it works well for me, though, because I don’t like super dark brows. This gives a very soft look to my brows, and stays all day long. Love it!
4. Girlactik Beauty Star Eyeshadow – Skin ($19)
You guys know how much I love my neutrals, so of course, I had to pick “love” for neutral eyeshadows and I got one in my box! This shade in “Skin” is a matte warm brown colour that can act as a wonderful best-friend colour in the crease to warm up your entire eye look. I love this colour, and how pigmented it is, but I found this eyeshadow a little bit dry so it definitely takes a little more effort to blend. I love the packaging of the Girlactik eyeshadows– they look super luxurious and all include a mirror!
5. skiin Instant Skin Tightener & Line Filler (Sample)

UNEDITED: Before(left), After(right)
When I first saw this in my box, I was really skeptical about it because these sort of creams usually don’t work. So, being completely underwhelmed, I used a bit of this on my hands to see the texture and what do you know, I fell in love with it! As you can see in my before and after pictures above, this literally fills every line in your skin and smoothes out the whole area. This result shows in like, 10 seconds, right after it dries! The skin will also feel tight after it dries. This product is super awesome, and I hope the full-size isn’t too pricey, mehehehe! 🙂
Value of my box:
Lipstick: $24
Nail Polish: $10
Brow Powder: $18
Eyeshadow: $19
Line Filler: Sample
Total: $71
So that’s everything in my Wantable November Makeup Box and I LOVE this box! Eventhough Wantable is on the pricier side, the full-sized products definitely make up for it. I love how they really take into account our personal style test results and only send things that they know we’ll love!
