BATTLE OF: Jumbo Lip Pencils

Hey guys! I’m not sure who actually started the jumbo lip pencil thing (Clinique Chubby Sticks, maybe?) but suddenly it’s all over the place. I’ve also collected quite a few from a different brands so I thought why not do a post on which ones I like the most out of the ones I have.
The ones in my collection are:
1) Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Coquette
2) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous
3) Etude House Vivid Pop Sticks in Girl on Top, and Just Dance
4) Bourjois Color Boost in Peach on the Beach, and Red Sunrise
5) Victoria Secret Glossy Lip Sheen in Manic Pink

1) Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Coquette
Buy for $8.99 (BUY 1 GET 1 50% OFF!) here:
This is actually my most recent purchase out of all of these. This came out about a month or two ago (I think?) here in Malaysia. Coquette is a medium pink with glitter. I love the colour and I love the formula. It doesn’t feel drying on the lips and it isn’t patchy. The only thing that stops me from reaching for it that much is the glitter.
2) Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Rendezvous
Buy for $8.99 (BUY 2 GET 1 FREE!) here:
This is probably my first of the jumbo lip pencils. When I first got it, I used it pretty much every single day. I used to love wearing orange on my lips and Rendezvous is an orange with red undertones. It’s not like a straight-up orange. I love the formula and the scent of this. It glides on easily and gives a nice gloss to the lips.
3) Etude House Vivid Pop Stick in Girls on Top & Just Dance
Buy for $10.49 here:
These Etude House Vivid Pop Sticks are matte. #6 Girls on Top is a barbie pink colour. It’s an absolutely gorgeous colour, but I just don’t think it complements my medium skintone well. It washes out my entire face.

I love #3 Just Dance. It is a beautiful pinkish red colour. Because it is a matte, it isn’t super bold on the lips or anything. This colour is one of those lippies that pull your entire makeup look together.
These Etude House Vivid Pop Sticks are pretty drying on the lips, which isn’t surprising because they are matte. It isn’t too bad, just wear some lip balm underneath and it’ll be ok!
4) Bourjois Color Boost in Peach on the Beach & Red Sunrise
Buy for £6.99 here:

Peach on the Beach is a light peachy-pink colour. I love that this is just a nice wash of pink, definitely a great every day colour.

Red Sunrise is the most gorgeous pink-red colour ever! I love wearing this colour on days where I want more colour to the lips, especially when I’m barely wearing any eye makeup. It pulls my entire look together!
I got these from my international beauty swap with Stacey. These Bourjois Color Boosts have an amazing formula! They are so pigmented and they glide on the lips effortlessly without any tugging. It also gives a really beautiful gloss and last a good 4-5 hours on my lips.
Victoria Secret Glossy Tint Lip Sheen in Manic Pink
I think they might have discontinued this shade, because I can’t seem to find it on the Victoria Secret’s website, or anywhere else for that matter (except eBay).
Manic Pink is a medium pink. I don’t like the formula of these because it does tug at the lips when putting it on. It is also a little bit patchy.

My favourite out of all I own is definitely the Bourjois Color Boosts! They have an amazing formula and they just feel so nice on the lips – super moisturising, and beautiful colour!
