Hey guys! When I first started wearing makeup, I had a little blush quad that I stole from my mum, lol. I’ve definitely built quite an army heh. I used to think blush was the least important aspect of my entire makeup routine, but now I can’t go a day without one.
I thought I’d show you the ones that I reach for the most, which I pretty much rotate every day.
|Top (Left to Right): Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Rose Sugar Macaron, MAC Blush in Gingerly, Bourjois Cream Blush in 02 Healthy Glow
Bottom (Left to Right): Reacheer Blush Duo in BE01, MUA Blush in Candyfloss
These are in no particular order, I love them all!
Etude House Lovely Cookie Blusher in Rose Sugar Macaron
When I first got this, I was a huge fan of the packaging (duh, haha) but not so much of the formula. Then about a month ago, I tried it on again and fell in love with it. It isn’t the most pigmented blush ever, so you definitely have to pile it on! I use about 3-4 swipes on my cheeks and it leaves me with a beautiful pink blush. There are gold flecks in this blush, so it gives me a nice glow and I can skip highlighter when I use this.
MAC Blush in Gingerly
I got this fairly recently on my birthday, but I have been using this almost every single day. It’s the perfect blush to warm up the complexion, and it’s great for the days when you want a little bit of colour but want to skip bronzer. This gives a beautiful peachy-brown colour to the cheeks. Perfect every day blush!
Bourjois Cream Blush in 02 Healthy Glow
I’m not sure if you guys remember, but I got this in my international swap with Stacey. This cream blush is a dream to blend, and the colour is beautiful! It’s a light peachy-pink colour. It is the perfect little blush to throw in your purse and go. Smells really nice too!
Reacheer Blush Duo in BE01
I loved this when I reviewed it and then I just kind of forgot about it. Then I did my “Shop My Makeup Stash” post and fell in love with it again! It’s the most beautiful apricot colour when blended together and it looks like a very natural flush on my medium skin tone.
MUA Blush in Candyfloss
This was also in my international swap with Stacey, and honestly.. for £1, you seriously cannot go wrong with this. This shade has a little bit of a purple hint to it, and again, is a gorgeous blush on my medium skintone.
I’ve been reaching for these blushes so much recently, and they all give a different effect and finish to the face. What’s your favourite blush right now, and do you have any recommendations for blushes to try? ‘Cause if there’s one thing I can’t get enough of.. it’s blush (nah, I’m kidding. It’s makeup in general :p).
Thanks for reading, xoxo
