Empties | June 2014

Hey guys! I have an empties post today! I love watching Empties videos on YouTube but I can never finish up products as quickly as they can. This post is probably two months worth of products, but it’s also because I use something a lot, then get a new product, and I just completely stop using the first product. So a product has to be one I really love for me to use it all up, haha!
Empties June 2014 | Beauty Nerd By Night
There are no makeup products in this (except a sample foundation, does that count?), but a ton of skincare and body products.

Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly, Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Cassardi Fresh  Blossom Bath & Shower Gel, LUSH Whoosh Shower Jelly, LUSH Snow Fairy Shower Gel
CASSARDI Fresh Blossom Bath & Shower Gel – There’s really nothing much to this shower gel. I picked it up at Sasa on sale for only RM10 because of the pretty bottle! But the consistency of the shower gel is really runny so it ran out really quickly. It smells nice, though.
LUSH Whoosh Shower Jelly – I love this citrusy goodness! I cut the whole jelly into chunks so it’s easier to use. This lathers up really well and smells amazing! It also makes my skin feel super smooth. The only downside to this is that, since it is a jellylike texture, little bits will fall off and go down the drain so there is a lot of product wasted.
LUSH Snow Fairy Shower Gel – I got this product and Whoosh from Australia during Christmas. I didn’t use this every day just because it’s a tiny bottle and I love it so much that I didn’t want to run out of it that quickly. It smells so fruity and candylike!
Garniner Fructis Purifying Shampoo, Herbal Essences Smooth Lovin' Shampoo
Garnier Fructis Pure Shine 2 in 1 Purifying Shampoo, Herbal Essences Smooth Lovin’ Shampoo
Garnier Fructis Pure Shine 2 in 1 Purifying Shampoo – I also picked this shampoo up while I was in Australia because they don’t sell Garnier shampoos here in Malaysia. I loved this shampoo! Because it is a purifying shampoo, you can’t use it every day. I use my normal shampoo and conditioner every day and then use this every Sunday to clean out the buildup in my hair and my hair feels fresh and light right after!
Herbal Essences Smooth Lovin’ Shampoo – Nothing too special. Just a normal shampoo.
L'Oreal Hydrafresh Anti Shine Gel, L'Oreal White Perfect Night Cream
L’Oreal Hydrafresh Anti Shine Gel, L’Oreal White Perfect Night Cream
L’Oreal Hydrafresh Anti Shine Gel – I love this as a night time moisturiser before applying night cream. It is super hydrating and gets rid of all the rough, dry patches on my face. It is also very cooling and smells nice!
L’Oreal White Perfect Night Cream – I have mentioned that this is my favourite night cream. This is probably the 3rd or 4th tub that I’ve gone through and I’m already using a new tub! It’s not too heavy on the skin and it did help brighten my face, and it’s also very moisturising.
Etude House Collagen Moistfull Sleeping Pack
L’Oreal White Perfect Night Cream (Sample), Etude House Collagen Moistfull Sleeping Pack
Etude House Collagen Moistfull Sleeping Pack – I love this so much! It is a sleeping mask that I apply once every three days. The next morning after using this, my face feels so smooth and looks refreshed when I wash this off. This is the 2nd tub I’ve gone through, and I bought a new sleeping mask from Etude House from a different range (but it’s not as good as this one).
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream, Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream (sample), Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream (sample)
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream – It’s a thick facial moisturiser so I only use it at night. It didn’t do much for my face, and there’s a very strong fragrance to it that I don’t really like.
Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream – This is a thicker eye cream and I really like it for the night time. It’s very moisturising! I would buy a full-sized when I run out, but I have two more sample tubs! They’re great!
Sally Hansen Moisturising Nail Polish Remover, Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Water
Sally Hansen Moisturising Polish Remover, Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray, The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Water
Sally Hansen Moisturising Polish Remover – I love these Sally Hansen nail polish removers and I keep going back to these. I’ve actually run out of 3 bottles of these but I only took a picture of one. I love this green one, but I also really like the pink and yellow ones!
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray – My favourite setting spray ever! I died a little inside when I ran out of this. It’s so good, and so expensive! This setting spray keeps my makeup in place all day. I have really oily skin, and this also keeps the shine to a minimum. I did end up buying a bottle of the UD De Slick Setting Spray to try out, but I like this All Nighter one a lot better.
The Face Shop Rice Water Cleansing Water – I’m really into cleansing waters because they don’t leave an oily residue on my skin. I love this for my face, but it doesn’t remove waterproof eye makeup at all. This is more of a gentler remover just to clean your face instead of taking off makeup.
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Foundation (sample)
My sister actually gave me this sample because it was too dark for her skin. It was a little bit light for me, but nothing a little bronzer couldn’t fix. I love this foundation and after running out, I went out and bought a full-sized of this! I love the effect it gives my face. It has a very natural finish and doesn’t look cakey or feel heavy on the face.
That’s all the products that I’ve run out of!

Thanks for reading, xoxo

    • I love that setting spray! I bought a different one, but definitely thinking about going back to this one. Thanks for reading 🙂

  • Lovely colour on your nails! Would love to try out the sleeping mask the next time Etude is on sale. How do you think it would fare for dry skin?

    • Thanks! It would be amazing on dry skin! It’s a super moisturising product. 🙂
