Chloe & Bella Swatches & Review

I have some Chloe & Bella Cosmetics Nail Polishes to show you today! Chloe & Bella is an Indie Nail Polish brand and all their nail polishes are hand made with love! A little back story on Chloe & Bella – Barbara is a lover of nail polishes and started creating nail polishes that she could never find, and really wanted.

I have a few shades to show you today: Rose, Starlight, Black Opal, Midnight, and The Basics Trio (which includes Black Out, White Out, and Crystal Clear top coat). All of my swatches in this post are topped with their Crystal Clear top coat for a glossy finish!

‘Rose’ is a glitter topper that has different shapes of both chunky and fine red glitter suspended in a clear base. The formula of this was impeccable – no fishing required to get the glitters out, and one coat gives just the right amount of glitter. I did decide to put 2 coats on top of Black Out (a black cream polish) to show you all the different sizes and shapes of the glitter. For a more subtle glitter look, I like to top this on a red cream base so that in different lightings and angles, the glitter shines.

‘Starlight’ is packed full of silver glitter. There are also little bits of holographic triangle glitters suspended in the polish. This is only 2 swatches, and it’s really opaque. This picture does not do it justice because this beauty was so hard to photograph but, they look so sparkly on the nail. The silver looks almost like aluminium foil on the nails because it almost has that sort of platinum look to it. The holographic triangles are so beautiful and look multi-coloured in certain angles and lights.

Would you look at that?! ‘Black Opal’ is a deep blue-purple with a ton of shimmer running through it. It shifts colour in different lightings and angles – hopefully the first picture shows the purple shift well. This is a pretty sheer polish – you could probably build it up to maximum opacity with 3 coats, but I chose to do 2 coats over White Out (a white cream).

‘Midnight’ is an almost black colour that sometimes looks dark green, and sometimes looks blue. There is a bunch of shimmer running through this. The formula of this is amazing – it’s super creamy and opaque. This is 2 coats under direct artificial light. In natural lighting, it’s a dark green. I think this is gorgeous for Fall. This is my favourite shade out of all of these hands down.

‘Black Out’ is a black cream. Super smooth and easy to apply.
‘White Out’ is a white cream. Very opaque, creamy, and easy to apply.

Those are all the polishes I have from Chloe & Bella to show you today. I’m absolutely in love with them! Which is your favourite shade out of these?

Thanks for reading, xoxo
