Today’s post is another haul (I’m sorry!). This is the second last haul, I promise! Today I have a ColourPop haul, which was probably the brand I was most excited for when I was in Australia because they don’t ship to Malaysia (or as ColourPop says, “yet”). Shipping to Australia is crazy expensive, but there was a labour day sale, and I had a $5 off coupon so everything worked out pretty okay, considering all their products only range from $5 – $8.
Ultra Matte Lip
ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip (Left to Right): Avenue, Succulent, Bumble
The first things I threw (yes, threw! I was too excited haha) into my cart were the Ultra Matte Lips! I picked up Avenue, Succulent, and Bumble. I’ve seen swatches and reviews of these and I knew I wanted Succulent and Bumble, and added Avenue in at the last minute because I wanted to try something darker for the fall season. Avenue is a darker, vampy red colour. Succulent is the perfect, bright orange-red, and Bumble is a gorgeous burnt dusty rose colour.
Super Shock Shadows
ColourPop Super Shock Eyeshadows (Left to Right): Sequin (Metallic), Bandit (Matte), Central Perk (Matte)
I picked up three of their eyeshadows as well because I’ve heard such amazing things about these and the swatches I’ve seen are heavenly! I picked up Sequin, Bandit, and Central Perk. Sequin is a gorgeous metallic, golden bronze shade that is beautiful all over the lids. It also broke in transit 🙁 I did contact ColourPop and they are sending me a replacement, which is awesome! Bandit is a matte, medium brown shade that is gorgeous in the crease. Central Perk is from their Fall 2015 collection that is inspired by the 90’s, so I’m assuming this is based on Friends. It’s a matte, burgundy shade that gives the most beautiful warm, burgundy look in the crease.
ColourPop Lippie Stix (Left to Right): Brink (matte), Bichette (matte)
Their Lippie Stix are the first things I’ve heard about from them so I was really excited for these. Some people hated that it was called Lippie Stix, but I don’t really mind. I picked up Brink and Bichette. Brink is a gorgeous darker dusty rose matte and Bichette is a beautiful deeper red matte. I honestly didn’t like Brink at all, it’s very dry and drags on my lips, but Bichette is very creamy.
ColourPop Lippie Pencil: Button (matte)
I picked up this Lippie Pencil in Button because I couldn’t decide if I wanted the Lippie Stix in Brink or Button. I found that Button looked rosier than Brink in online swatches but it’s a lot more brown than I expected. It’s definitely browner and darker than Brink but it’s still a gorgeous colour nonetheless.
That’s all I got from ColourPop, but I did make another order together with the replacement of the broken eyeshadow they’re sending me. So look out for another ColourPop haul, and I’ll have more in-depth reviews of these up in the near future. I loved everything I got and I can’t wait to try them out more.
What are your favourite ColourPop products? And what do you think about the name “Lippie Stix” (haha)?
Thanks for reading, xoxo
