You know how you have to lug around like three face products, 12 eye products and 21401 lip products just to be able to create a full makeup look on a weekend trip? Ya feel me? ..No? Well, it has happened to me so many times that I got to thinking.. there are so many multipurpose products that can be used for so many different things so I wanted to do a makeup look that only requires a few products.
I came up with this super simple, fresh-looking, every day makeup look that you can create with just 5 products! Hopefully this also helps if you’re just starting out in makeup and don’t have quite an extensive collection yet. Obviously this isn’t a super dramatic makeup look, but if you wanted to go for that bold look, you just have to switch out a few products!
For the face, you can either pick a foundation or a concealer. Here I used the SKIN79 BB Cream* from UNIQSO and it’s one of the best BB creams that I’ve tried to date. It’s very lightweight and gives a beautiful dewy (not greasy!) finish. I didn’t use a highlighter in this look so the glowiness in the first picture is all from this!
For the eyebrows, I cheated a little, and used the Eye of Horus Brow Perfect that actually comes with a pencil and a gel. As for the mascara, I used the W7 False Liquid Lashes, and also used it as an eyeliner. Just get a little bit of mascara from the wand onto an eyeliner brush and it’s exactly the same as a gel liner! As a simple look, I used the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer to deepen the crease a little and then later used it as a bronzer. If you have light brown hair, you can actually use your bronzer to fill in your eyebrows as well!
Cheeks & Lips
For the cheeks and lips, I used my Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil in Sin. I love this product because it can be used on the lips and cheeks, and also because it’s very lightweight and super easy to blend. I recently posted a full, in-depth review of this, if you’re interested!
So there you have it! A simple, full-face makeup look with just five products! The five products don’t necessarily have to be these exact products. You could pick out one or two that you think is important, like foundation and eyeliner, and then work around the rest. The best multipurpose product would have to be lipstick because it can also be used as a blush.
What do you guys think of this 5 product face? What are your top multipurpose beauty products? Let me know in the comments! 🙂
