Hansaeng Cosmetics Bi-gyeol Yun Emulsion

Hansaeng Cosmetics Bi-gyeol Yun Emulsion
Good morning, beauty nerds! Today’s post is a review on another product that came in my BNTgirls box, and it is the Hansaeng Cosmetics Bi-gyeol Yun Emulsion. A little history behind Hansaeng Cosmetics: they were established in 1960 so has over 50 years of expertise in the cosmetic field. The Rin Bi-gyeol Yun range of skincare (consists of a toner, essence, emulsion and cream) is one of their newest with active ingredients of 6-year fermented ginseng extract and oriental medicine flower complex (called dan-hwa-yon), that has hydrating, whitening and anti-aging properties.
The dan-hwa-yon consists of 10 different substances, including but not limited to: liquorice, black sesame, alba bark extract, and more.

Let’s first talk about the packaging of this product because I am in love. It looks like a pretty normal bottle, but for some reason even though the bottle is made of plastic, the shape and the gold accents makes it look and feel very luxurious. The product itself dispenses out of a pump which you have a lot of control over. I’ve had problems with pumps dispensing a ton of product in one pump before, but this one dispenses the perfect amount for one application. The gold cap is also very secure to avoid leakage, and for hygiene purposes.

This emulsion is used after an essence, and before applying a cream. The formula of this product is very rich and concentrated, and feels like a medium gel-like consistency when you apply it, and soaks into the skin in a matter of seconds. I often skip my moisturiser after using this because I have oily skin and this emulsion is rich enough to keep my skin hydrated.

This also has a fresh floral scent that is not too overpowering. It doesn’t smell artificial or anything, but everything is in Korean and I can’t find anything in their website about this, so I’m not sure if this product is fragrance-free.

I use this by dispensing one pump and then applying all over my face, and then patting it into my face until everything is absorbed. When using this product, my skin instantly feels refreshed, hydrated and cooled. After using it for a few weeks, my skin looks brighter and feels smoother.
I highly recommend this product, especially if you have dry skin. The richness of this product helps to really hydrate the skin, and if you have dry skin, adding another layer of moisturiser will help to moisturise the skin.
Thanks for reading, xoxo
