Kicho CC Cream

Kicho CC Cream Review
Kicho CC Cream on the Face
Hi beauty nerds! I have another BNTgirls box to review, and the first product here is the Kicho CC Cream. I typically stay FAR away from CC creams because I’ve tried a few that just didn’t work for me. CC Creams are formulated to colour correct the skin and usually only come in one shade. This Kicho CC Cream is actually a complete correction cream, that helps to brighten, cover and correct your skin.
The Kicho CC Cream is formulated with 7 different sprout extracts that have multiple benefits: evens out skintone, brightens overall complexion, fights wrinkles, blocks age-accelerating UVA-UVB rays, and gives a natural look to the skin. This CC Cream only comes in one shade that is supposed to be universal for every skin tone.

I have a love-hate relationship with the packaging because it is white. What I like is that it looks clean and elegant, but at the same time, it can get dirty very easily. I squeeze some product out onto the back of my hand and then apply it with a beauty blender so my tube doesn’t get dirty, but if you use your fingers to apply the product and then go to close the cap, the product will definitely end up dirty.

On to the formula of this product, I absolutely love it! I don’t have too much redness on my skin to colour correct, but I have a problem with dull skin and hyper-pigmentation. This is the first CC Cream I’ve tried that actually works to correct and brighten my skintone overall. Most that I’ve tried just made my face look really white. I use a beauty blender to apply this and the finish is a beautiful, natural, glowy finish. It feels very light on the skin, but definitely needs to be set with a powder to last the day. There is only one shade available that is supposed to be universal. It looks just a tad bit light on my medium skin, so this definitely wouldn’t work on darker skintones.
Retails for: $29 on KichoShop
Overall, I think it’s a great product to use, especially if you want to even out your skintone without wearing a heavy layer of foundation. This is great for the summer time because of how lightweight and glowy it looks. The downside to this is definitely that there is only one shade available that won’t suit everyone.
Thanks for reading, xoxo
