Happy hump day, beauty nerds! Today’s post is a review on the Cremorlab Mineral Essence Treatment and their Fresh Water Gel. Cremorlab is one of the more well-known Korean skincare brands, and for good reason. All Cremorlab products are formulated without parabens, alcohol, fragrances or artificial colours. Their best-selling range is the T.E.N (Thermal water therapy, Eco-energy, and Natural nourishment) Cremor range, which has the T.E.N thermal water as a main ingredient that helps to hydrate and nourish the skin.
These were so hard to photograph because of the colour, but I hope you’re still able to see it! 🙂
Benefits of the Cremorlab T.E.N Cremor range:
1. Concentrated hydration
2. Supplies nutrients to the skin
3. Improves elasticity of the skin
4. Balances skin moisture and oil
5. Protects skin
Cremorlab T.E.N Cremor Mineral Treatment Essence
This is their best-selling product. Every time there is a post on Cremorlab, you can bet this product is featured. This Mineral Treatment Essence can be used as a toner, with benefits of an essence. This one is supposed to help hydrate, brighten and smooth the skin. There isn’t any particular scent to this, it literally smells like water.. which is nothing lol. The directions say to put a generous amount on a cotton pad, swipe it on the skin, flip the cotton pad over and pat the essence into the skin.
I use this every night after washing my face. It wipes away any last traces of makeup, and refreshes my skin after a long day. This does an amazing job at hydrating. After a long day, my skin is dull and dehydrated. This product is like a huge gulp of water for my skin. Because my skin is moisturised, it results in brighter skin due to the lack of dull, flaky dry skin. Not only that, it has improved the texture of my skin and makeup goes on much smoother.
Cremorlab T.E.N Cremor Fresh Water Gel
This is my favourite product of the two! The Cremorlab Fresh Water Gel is a lightweight, gel-consistency moisturiser that’s perfect for oily-combination skin. It’s light enough that it won’t break you out, but rich enough to provide adequate moisture. However, I don’t think this would be hydrating enough for you dry skin gals out there. So if your skin is super dry and you live in a dry climate, I’d skip out on this and check out their other range, like the Enriched Moisture Moisturiser.
My skin is like an oiled frying pan though, because this stuff works amazing on me! If I use a moisturiser that’s too thick in the morning, my oiled frying pan of a face turns into a non-stick one where makeup just slides right off. I’ve been searching high and low for one that will hydrate my face and keep those pesky flaky skin away, yet doesn’t make my makeup slide off but I haven’t been able to find one.. until this. I apply this every morning and let it soak into my skin for about 2 minutes, and then apply my makeup. It makes makeup so easy to apply and go on so smooth! I don’t use this at night because I feel like it’s not be thick enough to protect my skin from the AC.
Oily skin is usually caused by the inner layers of your skin being dehydrated, therefore, using something that provides enough hydration is the key to less oily skin. I highly recommend the Cremorlab T.E.N Cremor Fresh Water Gel if you have oily skin, but the Mineral Treatment Essence is good for all skin types. If you’re in need of a good hydrating and brightening essence, and a day-time moisturiser that isn’t too heavy on the face, definitely check these Cremorlab T.E.N Cremor products out!
