If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now (thank you for your support!), you might have seen my review on the Lafine Vegetable Cleansing Cream a while ago. Today, I’m trying out another product from that Lafine Vegetable range, and it is the Lafine Vegetable Foam Cleansing. This foam cleanser is actually made with natural ingredients (vegetables, like the name suggests, duh) – carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, parsley and water parsley.
The vegetables used in this cleansing foam are actually water-retentive vegetables that help to provide moisture and refreshes tired skin. According to the Lafine website, it is like “applying freshly-crushed vegetables to the skin”. Now, I’ve never done that before, have you? Haha! This product smells like fresh cucumbers, which I’m not a huge fan of. However, the scent isn’t too strong and doesn’t smell artificial. It doesn’t linger so once I wash off the foam, it doesn’t smell anymore.
The product itself is a lightweight cream and just like the Cleansing Cream, there are little green and red granules in it. Once you add water and rub it in, the red and green granules dissolves. It lathers up very easily, and foams up into a foam cleanser (lol yah, I think that’s how foam cleansers work). I put a little bit of the product into my wet palms, rub them together and wash my face in a circular motion.
Does It Actually Work?
I use this every single day, morning and night, and it is one of the best foam cleansers I’ve tried to date. Because I use the double cleanse method, I use a cleansing water to remove my makeup and then I use this to cleanse my skin. This product removes any leftover makeup and dirt that my cleansing water might have missed. This goes on my skin very smoothly and it gives a cooling sensation to the skin. After rinsing off the cleansing foam, my skin is left feeling super refreshed, clean and hydrated.
There’s not much to say about a foam cleanser, but this Lafine Vegetable Foam Cleansing is amazing! It lathers up very easily and cleans the skin really well, while keeping it hydrated and feeling super refreshed. That’s saying something because foam cleansers are usually very drying on the skin. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a great foaming cleanser, and you want one that hydrates the skin. This would work wonders on dry skin, but I have oily-combination skin and it works amazing on me too!
